I've been a greeting card retail display representative, radio DJ, newspaper stinger reporter, volunteer rescue squad EMT... and that was before college! When I'm not working, I like to do crossword puzzles, repair and refurbish furniture, design my own greeting cards, sing at karaoke shows, and decorate cakes.
After earning a B.S. Degree in Communications from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, I was first a copywriter for a local AM/FM radio station. I didn't make much money, but I loved it! Finding myself unemployed, I took a friend's suggestion and enrolled in a bartending class. It was loads of fun, and I got my first job before the course was even complete! In 1995, I moved to the Grand Strand and have tended bar in mostly south end restaurants.
The years have been filled with typical ups and downs, and I no longer work in the service industry. But I've always believed everything happens for a reason, and I very much enjoy working for Dr. Hudak and meeting all of his patients.
